It takes so much mentally and physically to even attempt to reach such a challenging goal. She inspires me to workout when I don’t want to, try new things with weights, bosus and wobbly ball thingies. I’m probably most inspired by her positive attitude, commitment, dedication and determination to run a 50 mile event. She is as real as it gets and reading her posts is like chatting about your day with a friend. “We were asked to talk about why Kim is such an inspiration. There’s no shame in that.” Michelle from A Dish of Daily Life So what if it’s not 50? Sometimes you have to listen to your body. What I do know though is that I admire the fact that she gives 100% in pursuit of her goals. But what I want to say most of all, is this goal that eludes her, I know is frustrating.

And yet, she usually finds the time to visit me and so many others. In fact, I know I miss some of her posts. She is so consistent daily with her blog that I have a hard time keeping up. She treats others the way they would want to be treated, which is one of the things I find most inspiring about her. “Why do I find Kim inspiring? For one, she is kind and thoughtful.

If Kim is such an inspiration to this fellow trainer, she must be a huge inspiration to her clients!” Deb from Deb Runs Kim plays hard, but allows herself to have fun (enjoying a cocktail or two as she says), and that makes her real! I love her daily 44’s (44 reps of exercises to honor her 44th year), and that she posts so many exercise pictures and videos. “ When I first stumbled upon Kim’s blog I couldn’t believe how much we have in common! We’re both runners, personal trainers, married, moms to two sons, love the outdoors, and love to strength train. Miles are miles, it’s the heart that means the most, and that is what you accomplished!” Lindsay from Cotter Crunch You DID WHAT YOU COULD and that is pretty bad ass. “Kim, you are a trooper! Don’t ever think you gave up, because you didn’t. So, thanks for the inspiration.” Eli from Coach Daddy You’re kind of badass, yet smart that’s what I’d love to be. Thank you for being such an influence on me. I am currently soda-free, running three times a week, and hitting the gym twice weekly. “ I know Kim has impacted a lot of people through her writing and fitness, me included. She’s a rock star when it comes to sharing her passion and motivating others and a true role model for me and many others to look up to.” Jaclyn from BumpSweat She strives to be real with people, incessantly encourages others, and continues to pursue fitness and health, always learning from any challenges that come her way. Her attitude is extremely positive and I am so happy she is my bloggy friend.” Nellie from Brooklyn Active Mama I learn lots of new things from her blog daily whether it be new workout moves, recipes or just ways to handle life situations. Kim is amazing when it comes to her daily workouts too–I can’t do two and she does 44 of them (with ease!) she is so creative with her workouts and I continue to be inspired by her. 🙂 Like me she has two boys, and I continue to learn from her everyday! I look forward to her uplifting and heartfelt comments because I know she means it.

“ Where do I start? Kim is everything I want to be when I grow up. Here are what some of Kim’s extensive group of fans have to say: That’s why I wanted to share some words of inspiration to show Kim that her perceived ‘failure’ is just that – perceived. She was disappointed with her result and I knew she would be hard on herself. Not before she had run 33.73 miles, though, making her an ultra marathoner in anyone’s book. Like in everything she does, Kim didn’t give up, but her body broke down. Last Saturday, Kim began her second attempt at the 50 mile distance, in grueling conditions.

Whether it’s committing to doing her daily 44 (in which she takes a new exercise every day and does 44 repetitions for each of her 44 years!) training her son Hunter for his first half marathon managing her own small business or training for and attempting an ultra marathon, she is totally dedicated. She loves her family wholeheartedly and she gives nothing less than all her effort for whatever goal she’s tackling. She is open, honest, thoughtful and kind. Kim is the kind of person you “meet” online and immediately know you’d connect with in the real world as well. “ Inspirational” is a word that gets thrown around a lot, especially in the fitness world, but when it comes to Kim, there’s no other way to describe her. Her name is Kim Turner and she’s the runner, mama and all around amazing woman who blogs at Day with KT. Let me tell you about a person who’s had a big impact on me – in fact, she inspires me.
